The EUDemCT project addresses critical gaps in understanding disinformation mechanisms, the lack of standardized counter-strategies, and low public awareness of information threats. Recognizing information warfare as a growing challenge to democratic institutions in Ukraine and the EU, the project integrates education, research, and cross-sector cooperation to enhance resilience against hybrid threats.

Key Objectives and Expected Outcomes:

  • Bachelor’s-Level Course on Information Warfare and EU Security Policies – Trains 75+ students over three years in cybersecurity, hybrid threats, and computational analysis, equipping them with practical skills in data protection and digital security.
  • Educational Modules on Cybersecurity and Strategic Decision-Making – Develops an interdisciplinary course on modeling and analyzing information warfare to strengthen academic curricula.
  • Workshops for Educators – Trains 180 school and university teachers to recognize and counter digital disinformation, improving media literacy education.
  • Scientific Publications – Produces 2 peer-reviewed articles on information warfare, decision-making, and hybrid threats in international cybersecurity and political science journals.
  • Digital Dissemination Platform – Establishes a website hosting research, training materials, and policy insights, engaging 5,000+ visitors.

By integrating cybersecurity, political science, and strategic analysis, the EUDemCT project strengthens EU-Ukraine cooperation, promotes democratic resilience, and enhances institutional capacity to counter hybrid threats.
